HANDS-ON SAFETY LEARNING
1. Learning that children can see and do
Children don’t just hear about fire safety. they experience it.
Delivered in a structured, age-appropriate way from start to finish, helping children understand what to do and how to respond.
2. The process:
The session is guided step-by-step using the Teacher Pack, making delivery simple and consistent for schools.
- Children follow along using their Student Activity Packs
- Interactive activities reinforce key safety behaviours
- Hands-on elements bring learning to life in a safe environment
3. What’s included
Each school receives a complete training pack:
- Teacher delivery pack
- Children’s activity packs (for each child)
- One copy of Meet Tuck for every child
- One large “smoke drill” training blanket per school
- One practice smoke alarm per school
4. The Outcome
Each pupil completes the session with a clear understanding of simple fire safety behaviours and the confidence to apply them.
They then graduate from the programme, taking their book home to reinforce learning with their families.
